La Manifestazione di Regolarità e di Eleganza Autostoriche “Il Mantovano Volante”, occorsa in Mantova il 14 e 15 Maggio 2011 nella sua “edizione zero”, ha riscosso un ottimo successo di partecipanti, si è pregiata di un elevato livello storico e collezionistico delle vetture convenute ed ha raccolto una considerevole cifra destinata in beneficenza. Dimostrazione della buona riuscita è il vivace riscontro mediatico che le è stato dedicato. Questo si è espresso sia sulla stampa nazionale del settore auto d’epoca e sia in quella locale, nonché nel Web grazie al sito ufficiale, ai Blog degli specialisti di regolarità auto storiche ed ai Social Network.

 

 

Introduction:

 

The Concours d’Elegance and Regularity Event for Sports and Historic Cars “Il Mantovano Volante” (“The Flying Mantuan”), whose “zero edition” was held in Mantova on 14/15 May 2011, was successfully attended by several participants, the historic and collectors’ level of cars was qualitatively high and a considerable amount of money was raised and given to charity to “Casa del Sole ONLUS” in Curtatone (Mantova), a Mantuan institution, well-known all over Italy for the treatment of mentally disabled young people. The event was organized by two special Mantuan partners: “Lions Club Mantova Andrea Mantegna” and ”A.M.A.M.S. Tazio Nuvolari Mantova”. The aims of Lions Club Mantova Andrea Mantegna are to “serve” the community, whereas A.M.A.M.S. Tazio Nuvolari Mantova, as ASI (Italian Historic Motor Club), aims at spreading the Culture of Historic Motor Sports in the territory of the Province of Mantova. Evidence of the success of the “0 edition” is the media coverage dedicated to the event. Also the national and local press on vintage cars gave prominence to the event, as well as on the worldwide web thanks to the official website, and to blogs of vintage cars experts and Social Networks.
